Street Road has established the Little Free Library Cochranville as a community resource where people gather to explore, interact and imagine. As well as shelves packed with free books, we offer dedicated shelves curated by community members, children’s book readings, art classes, art exhibitions, public lectures, and book groups. We welcome ideas for classes and activities so please let us know what is of importance to you.
LITTLE, BUT BIGGER: Because we are bigger than other little free libraries (littlefreelibrary.org) we have free books, a lending section and a permanent collection, all visible here on the Libib app, so we’re sure to have the book for you. Drop by and grab a book, make use of the free wifi, and pull up one of the armchairs and spend a comfortable afternoon reading and chatting – there is also a large desk that can be used for studying, and if we can be of help so much the better. Our values of cooperation and inspiration and a very good cup of coffee sit at the heart of the Little Free Library, and the best part is that it’s free to everyone. Check out OUR CATALOG here: LFL19330.libib.com You can view many of our books here. Note that this is a somewhat informal catalog with sections for our permanent collection and also for the free books that are continuously flowing in and out of the library. This latter section is necessarily and gloriously incomplete as, viz Borges, the library is infinite, and it is sometimes hard to scan items in before they go back out the door. EVENTS / WORKSHOPS: Follow our Instagram, or email us to sign up to receive Street Road email newsletters to be notified of all our events. WOULD YOU LIKE TO HELP? As a resource that is always free to the community we are grateful if you wish to volunteer your time as one of our librarians, to donate books, or to offer your experience and talent to host a class or activity of your choice.
