This screen shot shows us Skyping with Kaori Homma last week to plan for this year's variation on her Homma Meridian @ Street Road.
This line stretching across the Street Road Site, is Homma's re-conception and re-locating of the Greenwich Meridian (so called 'zero degrees longitude'), from London to Cochranville. These photos show it two summers ago when we let it grow as long grass. This summer, Kaori collaborates with another artist who has had long involvement at Street Road, Adrian Barron, and the line will be cut down to the earth, and local seeds will be allowed to germinate freely. The line gets cut this week and we'll have a time lapse camera shooting photos all summer. Watch this space.
